The bare facts are frightening:
In June 2000 the National Audit
Office said that there were at least 100,000 Hospital Acquired Infections
(HAI's) a year costing the taxpayer about £1 billion pounds per
annum. Each year since then the rate of infections has actually
increased.
About 1 in 10 in-patients can expect to be infected. If you
are lucky, this will result in nothing more that some discomfort
and an extended stay in hospital. If you are not so lucky it could
end in disability and even death. ABOUT 5000 DEATHS A YEAR to
be precise. Most frightening of all, you have almost no control
over the standard of hygiene of the hospital or its staff.
However, you are not totally powerless. You can now control
the air you breathe. Experts estimate that about ONE QUARTER
of all hospital "SUPERBUGS" are transmitted in the air. Protecting
yourself from these airborne nasties makes a real difference. It
may even save your life.
In 2002, the NHS spent over £100k on one research study into
the effect of negative ions on hospital superbugs and specifically
the common "superbug", Ascentiobacter. Their findings were astonishing.
The study was carried out in St James's Hospital, Leeds.
Here's what the lead researcher Dr Clive Beggs said: "This
is the first epidemiological study of its kind into the use of ionisers
in hospital wards and the initial results are very promising. We
believe that the negative air ions are removing the bacteria from
the air, so stopping the transmission of infection."
The lead consultant from the intensive care unit, Dr Stephen
Dean, said, "The results have been fantastic - so much so that
we asked the University to leave the ionisers with us. Since the
trial finished in May, we've kept them in operation, and have continued
to see greatly reduced acinetobacter infections on the ward."
So, the question is, should anyone in their right mind enter
a hospital without protecting themselves with a good personal ioniser?
The answer seems obvious.
The Aircare Personal wearable ioniser will do a great job
at protecting you from airborne nasties. It is small, light and
affordable, looks good and most importantly produces millions of
air cleaning negative ions to destroy the bugs. Click
here to see proof of the 99% reduction rate the Personal Ioniser
has on some common bacteria.
Order
one now and fight back.
Important note: The Personal model will protect your
immediate airspace when worn around the neck, but if you want to
clean the air over a greater distance, say an entire hospital room,
then you would need a much more powerful device and we have the
best in the world. It's called the Elanra Portable Therapeutic Ioniser.

If you are looking for a larger ioniser for the home or office
or a more substantial portable model then check out our range of
Elanra Therapeutic Ionisers. Quite simply the best that
money can buy.
